Autumn Equinox with Baltimore Reclaiming

Susquehannock Pavilion at Druid Hill Park
We will be gathering for a potluck at Druid Hill Park on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to celebrate the Fall Equinox. We will be meeting at the Susquehannock Pavilion from 5 pm – 8 pm. Baltimore Reclaiming has a long-standing tradition of sitting together to watch the sunset on the Fall Equinox.
For many of us summer is a time to travel and explore. We learn so much from our connections with others and with the land in so many places. At fall equinox we often take time to think about the things that we have discovered and learned throughout the summer. This year we invite you to bring your stories and special mementos from your summer adventures with you to the potluck. Let’s sit down and have circle time and do a little show and tell with our younger selves. Please consider bringing anything you would like to show or talk about. This will allow our younger selves to come out and play together and strengthen our connections with each other.
Families welcome! Feel free to bring stuff for our customary swap, and do please remember to bring recipe cards or mark your potluck offerings for common allergens/dietary needs.
Who is Baltimore Reclaiming? Baltimore Reclaiming is a radically inclusive community of witches who use our magic to bring transformation, justice and healing to ourselves, Baltimore and the world. We are a group of witches, artists, pagans, healers, activists, queers, priestesses, anarchists, theater geeks, feminists, and other good humans. We see our work as teaching and making magic: the art of empowering ourselves and each other. In our classes, workshops, and public rituals, we train our voices, bodies, energy, intuition, and minds. We use the skills we learn to deepen our strength, both as individuals and as community, to voice our concerns about the world in which we live, and bring to birth a vision of a new culture. We gather, mostly on the Sabbats, to work magic, often for personal healing and also for the healing of our society and planet. We believe that the work we do together in our sacred circles really can change the world.
Location: We will be at the Susquehannock Pavilion in Druid Hill Park. To get there, travel on East Drive towards the swimming pool. From East Drive, you want to turn onto the Pool Service Road, which is behind the Druid Park swimming pool. Off the Pool Service Road, you take Red Road, and find parking. You follow the pathway up to the Pavilion, which is the only one behind the pool. Here’s a Google pin.
Cost: If you would like to contribute to helping pay for the pavilion rental (no one is required to do so but help is appreciated), you can Venmo @Zac-Lawhon or bring cash when you come in person. No one is turned away for lack of funds. You are fully welcome regardless of your ability to financially donate.
Drugs & Alcohol: All Baltimore Reclaiming events are drug- and alcohol-free. We respectfully request that you do not use drugs or alcohol before or while attending our events.
Scent Policy: We strive to accommodate people who have chemical and scent sensitivities. Please keep these people in mind as you make choices about wearing scented personal hygiene products.
